The Bush tax breaks for the wealthiest were enacted in 2001, before 9/11, and presupposed a rosy economic picture. After 9/11 the economy took a downturn. So the supposed $1.7 trillion in lost revenues is actually greater because of further reduced revenues in the economic downturn.

Obama presented a simple, clear depiction of the conflict, with concise descriptions of the main issues. Boehner was vague and dishonest.

The ME is not a pristine place in which to pursue foreign policy initiatives: For example, the US got Anwar Sadat to sign a peace agreement with Israel, securing Israel's southern flank from a nation it went to war with three times. Sadat was assassinated, and Mubarak took over.

In actuality, Dubai and neighboring Abu Dhabi are favorite vacation spots for Europeans who benefit from a highly favorable exchange rate. Most travel there in winter to escape the cold, but still get their winter thrills at the indoor ski slopes in both cities.

Point of fact: The constitution recognizes those born on US soil, including recognized US territories, as citizens. McCain was born in a hospital in the Panama Canal Zone -- officially recognized as US territory.

FRIENDS! Sarkozy (pron: CZAR cozy) is the biggest embarrassment to the French ever. He is narcissistic, rude, and bullish. And he is the French President! If you don't want to invite heads of state, don't invite this idiot. Obama has more class in his pinkie than Sarkozy in his entire house!
